The Greater Iowa City Area HBA Legislative Committee announces that it recommends Barry Bedford for the open Coralville City Council position. The special election is Tuesday, Sept. 29. Bedford was Coralville police chief from 1988 to 2017 and had served on the police force since 1973. The committee sent home-building industry related questions to each candidate.
