Online Lead Renovator Refresher Training Class

Let’s talk about lead! Catch up on the latest information during this four-hour course, offered by The Greater Iowa City Area HBA, that is required by the State of Iowa as a prerequisite for renewing your Lead Renovator license.

THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD ONLINE USING A ZOOM MEETING.

During the course we will review how to safely work with lead-base painted surfaces, including: worker protection, proper cleanup and disposal methods, on the job training, record keeping and the Iowa Department of Public Health licensing process.

This course applies to anyone that needs to renew their lead renovator license, however, if you are also a Plumbing/Mechanical/HVAC license holder, the class is approved by the Iowa Plumbing & Mechanical Systems Board for four continuing education credits towards your safety hours.
