Jane Hagedorn IVHFH Women Build Groundbreaking

Long-time Greater Iowa City Area HBA member Jane Hagedorn, retired from Bea Day Plumbing, is the 2021 Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity (IVHFH) Women Build honoree!

Join us for the project’s groundbreaking. The event is outdoors, but those attending in person are encouraged to wear face masks and practice social distancing. 

Jane was highly involved in all 11 previous IVHFH Women Build homes. Women Build is a program developed by Habitat for Humanity to engage and empower women in construction. The goal is not meant to exclude men, but to include women who may not feel comfortable volunteering at a male-dominated construction site. Women Build also highlights and honors the talented and hard-working women in our community.
