Greater Iowa City Area HBA builders and remodelers are invited to give their input for the City of Iowa City’s efforts to be greener and reduce its environmental footprint. Join in Tuesday, June 8 from 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., prior to the Remodelers Council June Board Meeting, virtually or in person at the Iowa City Area HBA Conference Room (11 S. Gilbert, Iowa City) to provide perspective from both the home owner and builder/remodeler during a conversation with Cause IMPACTS.
The City of Iowa City hired Cause IMPACTS to conduct research and learn from the community how the city can assist residents and businesses to adopt behaviors that save money and reduce its collective environmental impact, while improving the quality of life, health and well-being for all who live and work in Iowa City. Step 1 is to understand the perceived barriers and benefits to energy efficiency and transportation practices within the city. Facilitators will be Jessica Daugherty and Natalie Lehman from Cause IMPACTS.
Attending virtually? Email karyl@hbaofic.org by 5 p.m. on Monday, June 7 for a Zoom-link invitation.
