Women’s Council IVHFH Women Build Day

Join the Women’s Council at the Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity Pat Heiden Women Build 8
Each year, Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity seeks out an influential woman in the community to honor with the Women Build. Our 2016 Women Build honoree is Pat Heiden, a long-time Johnson County volunteer and executive director of the Oaknoll Retirement Residence.
The Women Build gathers women in the community to raise funds and build a home for a low-income family in the area. IVHFH will partner with Sophia Diaz and her family to assist them into ownership of this home. The goal of the Women Build is to empower and encourage women to participate in construction projects; however, we welcome ANYONE, regardless of gender, to come out and volunteer on this project!
