The 2021 Iowa City Area HBA Home Show is virtual only – as in all online – Monday, Feb. 22 – Sunday, Feb. 28 allowing consumers to experience the event from wherever they want at ichomeshow.com. The Greater Iowa City Area HBA puts on the event, presented by Collins Community Credit Union and Lepic-Kroeger, REALTORS.
“We are thrilled to be able to have The Home Show this year through our revamped website,” said Home Show Chair Devin Madsen of Collins Community Credit Union. “The new format lets visitors safely enjoy the show from the comfort of their homes and provides exhibitors a unique opportunity to showcase their products and services. The Home Show is still a one-stop shop for all things home related.”
The online, week-long event lets home owners connect with top-notch, local exhibitors to get information and ask questions about building, remodeling, the latest trends in materials and design and more. On the show’s new website – ichomeshow.com, visitors can access live broadcasts, daily register-to-win giveaways and loads of home ideas and inspiration.
Corridor consumers will want to mark their calendars for Sunday, Feb. 21, the day The Home Show magazine appears in The Cedar Rapids Gazette and The Home Show Preview airs at 11 a.m. on CBS 2/KGAN. It’s a chance to see participating exhibitors and learn more about what to expect.
Virtual Home Show highlights are:
“While I will miss being at the Home Show in person, I am looking forward to interacting with virtual visitors to help them imagine the possibilities for their homes,” said Iowa City Area HBA President GT Karr of Iowa City’s Sueppel’s Siding & Remodeling, whose company is an exhibitor. “Moving to an online format encouraged us to be creative in our presentation, both for individual exhibitors and with the entire show. Having the show will help maintain some semblance of normalcy, something we all need.”
