Scholarships Online Silent Auction and Donation Challenge Collection are Underway
Our Women’s Council December scholarship fundraisers started today, Giving Tuesday!
The Online Silent Auction is open at 
https://www.32auctions.com/ICHBAScholarships and runs through Dec. 15. View, bid on and – if you win – purchase fabulous items. Special HBA 60th anniversary hand-crafted patio chairs, a holiday centerpiece DIY flower arrangement, boutique purses, a case of Spotted Cow beer, wearable art and much more are available. The event is open to the public.
The Donation Challenge Collection invites member businesses to simply put out a provided donation bag and encourage contributions now through Dec. 22. The business that raises the most money wins recognition and three bottles of wine to celebrate. Call 
the HBA office at (319) 351-5333 or email Karyl or Michelle at to receive a donation bag, which comes with a flyer about the scholarship fund and a past recipient card featuring a photo and quote.
Scholarships go to graduating high school seniors planning to enter the skilled-trades/home-building industry or have some connection with the HBA.
One-time donations of any amount also are being accepted for anyone who gets outbid in the auction or doesn’t have access to our special donation bags. Make checks payable/mail to:
